My review of U2's new album No Line on the Horizon is up at Christianity Today Magazine.

Craig Burrell, I saw your comments and tried to publish them, but for whatever reason blogger doesn't like them.

In answer to your question, I think Wikipedia has quoted me a few times. But it's, you know, Wikipedia. We all know how reliable that can be.

I always enjoy writing for CT (truly). I'm always boggled by the comments. Here are a couple.

After a 2-star review:

"If Bono can cause anyone anywhere to do something for someone else then God bless him, but U2's real review will be made by Someone else."

You'll get what's coming to you, you not-so-Bono man.

And here's my favorite:

"I couldn't care less about Bono and U2. I think he is a self-righteous know-it-all. He's a "Johnny Come Lately" who wants to tell Christians and the Church about what needs to be done in Africa and everywhere else, yet he has no real connection to the local church. He's under no authority because he is his OWN authority. BEWARE of such men!! Bono completely ignores all the trillions of dollars that America as well as Christians have poured into Africa over the past 30 yrs. In many ways, he is a "lone ranger." Too bad. But I for one have not been taken captive by the spell that Bono has cast over evangelicals. Reminds me of another spell cast by a guy named Obama who had CT and many evangelicals thinking that he was a card-carrying evangelical. And now we see that he is a power-hungry socialist who is seizing control of everything!"

Wasn't that Obama guy in that band Simply Red?
