Today's Playlist

I haven't listened to much music in the past two weeks. I haven't had time. But when I have listened, these songs have dominated the CD player and the iPod. Music really is the soundtrack to life.

What Do You Want From Life? – The Tubes
Don’t Eat the Yellow Snow – Frank Zappa
Hospitals I’ve Visited – Jerry’s Kids
Bring Me the Head of Jerry Garcia – Iron Prostate
Piss Factory – Patti Smith
Urine Palace – Tiger Lillies
Pissing in the Wind – Badly Drawn Boy
Pack Up Your Troubles In Your Old Kit Bag – Red Foley
Hospital Vespers – The Weakerthans

I feel strange recommending music to you for a change, but if you get tired of this soundtrack and (heaven forbid) need some b-sides, here are a few others to queue up:

Pissing - Low
Oh, Doctor Jesus - Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong
Hospital Beds - Cold War Kids
Time Is a Healer - Eva Cassidy
Mystery Tube - Galactic
Doctors of Deliverance - Crooked Fingers
Pain (Makes You Beautiful) - The Judybats
Hospital Song - Ben Folds Five

And, well, a certain King Missile song that shall go unnamed for now.

Seriously, though, I hope you find relief soon, Andy. You're in my prayers.
