A New Writing Gig

I'm about to sign a contract to work with All Music Guide, a wonderful Internet music resource. I check allmusic.com almost daily because it's an exhaustive and highly reliable database of musical information. If I'm looking for a band's biography, or trying to track down who played the theremin on some sixties psychedelic freakout, or checking a singer/songwriter's discography, or simply looking for informed opinions about a particular album, allmusic.com is invariably where I go. Many of my favorite music critics already reside there, and I'm honored to be in their midst. I'll be writing as many reviews of new albums as the fulltime job, Paste, and other commitments permit.

Andy, this is fantastic news. AMG is my one-stop-shop for music information and reviews as well, and it sounds like it's about to get even better. Any site where I can find reviews by you, Stephen Thomas Erlewine, and Thom Jurek... well, gee, how can Pitchfork possibly stack up against THAT lineup?

I'm super excited. I've been an allmusic.com fan for as long as I've had the Internet. Fantastic.
