Fleet Foxes vs. Geico Caveman

One is an indie rock star. The other is a television commercial star. A free online insurance quote to the first person who can correctly identify which is which.

This is a good task for somebody who can't remember or recognize faces. I still think that if those two are not one person, the indie rock star is on the bottom LOL

Hey Andy,
You may not remember me (Friend of John Mc, and Brian E.) Just wondering if you noticed that the Hold Steady are going to be at Calvin's Faith and Music Festival this coming Spring....I am going to try to make the trip....(graduated from Calvin)

Hi Adam. Sure, I remember you. It's nice to hear from you.

I'll be at the 2009 FFM. I'll look for you there. I believe that I and Michael Kauffman (head of Asthmatic Kitty Records, Sufjan Stevens' label) will again be doing our American-Idol-like judging of up-and-coming musicians/bands for the conference.

The conference is amazing. I've been to the past two, dating back to 2005, and it's always a highlight; great thinking and great music. God bless Calvin College. They consistently put together the most interesting and challenging arts conferences, concerts, and cultural events. They put to shame The Ohio State University, with fifteen times the number of students, and I assume a correspondingly larger budget.

Hi Andy,

I have never left a comment on your blog before, though I have been reading it regularly for many months. I'd like to thank you for the "Best of 2008" CD you sent me upon my email request. I'm enjoying it quite a bit, hearing stuff I wouldn't otherwise have been exposed to.

From your recent blog entries, you seem to be pretty down lately. Hope this Caveman post indicates some lightness is still there in your life.

Thanks again for the CD and for your writing. I'm sure there are a lot of other lurkers out there enjoying your blog, as I am.
