... is Seattle's The Catheters.
I don't know if any of you guys have ever sat around and wondered, "Hey, what's it like to have a tube up your dick?" I know I never did. But now I know. Wonder no more. It hurts just like you would think it would.
So I have an infected prostate glad that landed me in the hospital last night. But hey, given the tube and trusty legbag, I'm back in business. How humiliating. I'm walking like John Wayne, but I don't feel like him.

Ouch!
Have I got a YouTube clip for you...
Let me speak for the rest of the church when I say that we won't be laying hands on this one...
Infection bad.
Clip good.
Thanks, Martin.
Get well, Andy.
Been there, but at least I was sedated when they put it in. Lived with it for 8 days. Good news - it doesn't hurt when they take it out.
Hope you recover soon.
feel better soon...

Yowza! Hope you recoup quickly!
sorry andy
i'm hoping your recovery is extra quick.
Yet another cosmic connection we hanve Andy.
Years ago, had my similar experience when I was hospitalized with post-vascectomy complications.
Someday when we finally get to the same show I'll fill you in on the comic details.
Hang in there!
Martin, that video is hilarious. Thanks for sharing it. Unfortunately, it still hurts to laugh.
A couple years ago, Sports Illustrated ran a pair of articles, one of which was written by a man who had attended a basketball game with a Stadium Pal strapped on. The other? Written by a woman who had attended a similar event in the company of a(you guessed it) "Stadium Gal." Both the man and woman agreed that the worst part was separating oneself from the contraption. But whereas the man said that it was really cool to be sitting in your seat and peeing unbeknownst to your nearby fellow fans, the woman wondered who in their right mind could feel comfortable peeing in public. Gender differences strike again.
Seriously, though, are you doing okay?
Hi, John. Thanks for asking.
Umm, no, I'm not doing okay. But it remains to be seen how not okay I'm doing. This could be an embarrassing and uncomfortable interlude that quickly goes away. It's definitely those things, and I hope that's all it is. But I got to this state because I couldn't pee, and I couldn't pee because my prostate gland was a lot bigger than it was supposed to be, and was blocking my bladder. And at this point I don't really know why my prostate gland was a lot bigger than it was supposed to be.
Questions, questions. And at this point I don't have the answers. Emotionally and spiritually I'm doing okay, I think. I'm not lying awake at night losing any sleep, at least from worry. Having a tube up my dick is a different matter. And physically I really have no idea what's going on. So I'd appreciate your prayers for that.
