You Don't Say?

I've received a lot of spammed comments lately, so I thought I had turned on a setting that would allow me to view comments and approve/disapprove them before they were posted on my blog. Instead, flexing my technological savvy, I managed to turn off comments altogether.

Sorry about that. So now I'm really, really lonely, feeling insecure, wondering if the reason why I haven't received any comments is because a) no one could post comments, or b) no one reads my blog. This is how pathetic I've become. You, and only you, can make my day. Probably my weekend. It's a dull life, I tell you.

Hi Andy,

I had tried to comment on your "Surviving Bootcamp" entry, but the bodyguards wouldn't let me through. Can't remember what I was going to write. If I think of it, I'll jot it down. Glad to see the comments are back up.

I swing by at least twice a week to catch new updates in your blog.

Also, flipping through Paste this morning, I read your column about starting the band, the song and the outcome. Wonderful story telling...sorry to hear about the lead singer.

Cheers,

Clive

I enjoy your posts as well as your articles in paste. I just discovered Gram Parsons because of your article about him. Thanks.

I read your blog a couple of times a week...and tend to pass some things onto my sister Marianne who is a singer/songwriter with some cd's out and tours some....not known a whole bunch but some people follow her...she considers herself a contemporary Christian.

Hi, Andy. I don't think I've read blogs in a couple months, but stopped by yours today and wanted to say hello! Many people love you :-).

I check your blog site several times a week, and began doing so soon after your Paste article about the Mem Aud Bruce concert we both attended in 1976. Was quite chagrined when I tried to respond last week and was told that I could not, because your site was now "members only." I then followed that up with an e-mail to you at the last address I had, which may no longer exist since you went to Apple (but I didn't get anything from my server saying that my e-mail to you could not get delivered). Receiving no response to that, I did not check your blog for a week or so. Then I saw this post, and am hoping I can now send comments again. I'm just rambling on here to have something to send you to see if I can now get through.
Keep up the great work!
