Gosh, haven't heard that in years.Living the Biblioshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15267015591878790193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9991864.post-3951221010560657652007-04-13T13:00:00.000-04:002007-04-13T13:00:00.000-04:00Gar, the entire catalogue is being reissued this y...Gar, the entire catalogue is being reissued this year on Rhino Records. I didn't really keep track of the band after "Abacab" (the prog rock/pop mix was still fairly bracing to me; the pure-pop Genesis not so much), so I can't comment on the post-'82 albums other than to say that I know they're going to be reissued. But you'll be able to buy the individual albums, or buy them packaged as part of three box sets ('69 - '75, '76 - '82, '83 - whenever). The middle years ('76 - '82) have just been released as the first box set. The earlier and later releases are coming later this year.Andy Whitmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04010130934552315074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9991864.post-22466661164758219712007-04-13T12:48:00.000-04:002007-04-13T12:48:00.000-04:00Hey Andy,Wow, completely forgot about Genesis but ...Hey Andy,

Wow, completely forgot about Genesis but thanks. I have been enjoying Duke again for probably over a decade. I wonder if they plan on doing that with the remainder of the catalog (post '82). I have to say besides the self-titled Genesis and some of Invisible Touch I lost interest in this band fast.

GarAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9991864.post-12409392867988047252007-04-12T14:22:00.000-04:002007-04-12T14:22:00.000-04:00My memory says something like "Fahrenheit", only m...My memory says something like "Fahrenheit", only maybe spelled different? Both fit the bill, although I believe The Musical Box actually has the blessing of the original Genesis lineup, and has been known to use the videos the old guys used back in the '70s.Andy Whitmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04010130934552315074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9991864.post-4704350270655552572007-04-11T13:13:00.000-04:002007-04-11T13:13:00.000-04:00Help me out here....What was the band that played ...Help me out here....

What was the band that played Genisis and Peter Gabriel covers on the regional bar circuit years ago?

I remember the lead singer doing all the visual tricks and dressing like Gabriel.

Come on Andy.jackscrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16163915446151636189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9991864.post-11406041583913917932007-04-10T19:48:00.000-04:002007-04-10T19:48:00.000-04:00mmm...i'm thinking of better things to play air gu...mmm...i'm thinking of better things to play air guitar to...:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
