I'd like to get my CDs down to about 12.

I used to travel to auctions with my brother. Auctions teach you the value of your stuff. When we die these things will be auctioned off for a few dollars.

I also had everything stolen in a move a long time ago (they stole the moving truck). And, I purged almost everything when I moved to Europe. So I'm an experienced minimalist.danthresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07519939413038295776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9991864.post-1136896869489924992006-01-10T07:41:00.000-05:002006-01-10T07:41:00.000-05:00i don't have an ipodso that makes 2 of us(i don't ...i don't have an ipod

so that makes 2 of us

(i don't plan on getting one either...or really want one for that matter. i enjoy cds too much --something i can hold in my hands)mghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02279451510520504251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9991864.post-1136837434645954292006-01-09T15:10:00.000-05:002006-01-09T15:10:00.000-05:00What, no Tony Orlando and Dawn? Valuation-wise for tax purposes, they'd probably be worth far more than you or I would personally value them. John, Neil and Tony probably have many more fans than the New Pornographers.

By the way, if your collection contains such gems as those you mentioned, I'm persuaded that God was speaking directly to you through that sermon.

Repent, brother!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9991864.post-1136831912369449542006-01-09T13:38:00.000-05:002006-01-09T13:38:00.000-05:00Bill, you make me laugh. In fact, why don't I help you out with your burden of guilt by going through your collection and picking out the ones that I would be willing to relieve you of. All I can think of is, thank God I didn't have to hear that sermon.

By the way, the new Delbert McClinton CD is one of his very best. Especially for those of us with eclectic taste. There's at least a half dozen different musical styles represented.

Stay well, keep on the sunny side, and keep me in mind next time you have a conscience attack.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
